Chinese Crested skin care- what brands do I use?
I have a new Chinese Crested hairy hairless puppy, and I was wondering if any crested owner or groomer out there could recommend a brand or two of shampoo and moisturizer. I have found conflicting information from different websites, some say oil-free is best, others say oil based. Also, all the sites say to “bath regularly” how often is that? I know for most dogs it is 4-8 weeks, do cresteds need to be bathed more often?
First off i bathe my chinese cresteds about 2-3 times a month although i do not have the hairless i have the powderpuff also i use Pantene Pro-v straightening shampoo and conditioner.Our groomer however has a hairless and she uses all natural oatmeal shampoo and conditioner she says it helps sooth her dogs acne and is also a great moisturizer.Also there is a great website that will help you with any info you may need its Dogbreedinfo.com and then just type in chinese cresteds:)
