Skin Care Infomercials

Best acne cure?

I’ve tried a bunch of stuff, still haven’t tried a dermatologist since… well, my parents can be cheap. Anyway, I’ve tried most skin care products, and nothing has worked. One thing I haven’t tried is proactiv, and I haven’t tried that because it’s $60+ and there are infomercials about it, and I don’t really trust infomercials. My acne is probably considered severe, and I’ve had to use my mother’s makeup powder to hide the redness – but the big-*ss bumps are still there. Anyway, I’m willing to try most things, so give me some advice, and maybe if proactiv worked for you. Maybe include how long certain remedies took. So far, alcohol pads, facial scrubs, tea tree oil, and plain old dove soap have not worked. AND NO, I don’t pick my pimples.

Well, there is St. Ive’s Apricot Scrub. It made my skin look almost flawless, and it’s the only scrub I’ve used that had noticable results. If that doesn’t work, I really recommend going to a dermatologist. If your parents really care about you, they’ll take you to a perfessional and quit wasting money on things that aren’t working.
