How Young Is Too Young to Start Using Anti-Aging Skin Products?

I’m 21 with oily sensitive skin. I don’t show many signs of aging except im starting to notice laugh lines and crows feet (obviously not deep lines but i can see the start of it ).

I was curious to find out if I use anti aging products that would stimulate cell turnover and things similar to that if i would just be damaging my skin in the end? I really just want to prevent signs of aging the best i can , I already wear a high spf moisturizer daily and wear sunscreen on my body everyday and saw dramatic results from my skin healing from the sun damage . Anyone who has an idea?

Good for you! You are way ahead of the game. You are never too young to use a good moisturizer and especially sunscreen. I am 50 and wish now I had been more diligent. Its easier to prevent damage than to reverse it. I am not an expert but a weekly gentle exfoliating scrub and a light non-oil moisturizer will keep you glowing. Drink lots of water and don’t smoke.

Yeah, I think its great to start early to try to prevent it. I’m 13, about to be 14 and I’m going to start sometime this year. But, I’m not going to use products with chemicals. I’m going to go natural and start making my own skincare stuff for daily skincare use. I think you should do it too, especially since it won’t damage your skin. Just look for some skincare recipes on the internet…

  4. I am 35, have a bit of gray due to genetics. If my gray hair shows some employees automatically show me the heavier cream products, dark lip products, no decent eye colors & never even suggest mascara. It's frustrating when I ask for a shimmer or a lighter shade of product & am told “it won't work for you due to your age.” I have a good skin care routine & good skin but due to the gray they always push the heavy concealers & powders. I look older after the consultation and make over.
